ooforit
ooforiʹt [oo-] (nylat. oophoriʹtis, av ooforon), inflammation i en äggstock.
Denna inträffar nästan alltid i kombination med äggledarinflammation (salpingit). Behandling sker med antibiotika eller i undantagsfall kirurgiskt.
