C.S. Lewis
Lewis [lu:ʹis], Clive Staples, 1898–1963, brittisk författare och litteraturvetare, professor i medeltidens och renässansens litteratur i Cambridge från 1954.
Under sin tid i Oxford, före 1954, tillhörde Lewis liksom Tolkien ”the Inklings”, en grupp skrivande akademiker som regelbundet träffades för att diskutera varandras texter.
