Alexander [æligzæ:ʹndər], Christopher, 1936–2022, brittisk-amerikansk arkitekt, professor vid University of California, Berkeley, USA, 1970–2001.
Utifrån ”mönsterteorier” lade Christopher Alexander fram sina idéer om arkitektur och samhällsplanering i flera skrifter, bland annat Notes on the Synthesis of Form (1964), A Pattern Language (1977) och A New Theory of Urban Design (1987).
