Gregorius XI
Gregorius XI, egentligen Pierre-Roger de Beaufort, 1329–78, påve från 1370.
Gregorius XI blev den siste Avignonpåven. År 1377 företog han sitt intåg i Rom och gjorde Vatikanen till sitt residens. I en bulla samma år fördömde han John Wycliffes läror.
