EAGE
EAGE [e:ɑ:ge:ʹe:], European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers, europeisk förening för främjandet av användning av geofysik inom prospektering.
Den har sitt säte i Utrecht, Nederländerna, och utger bl.a. tidskrifterna Geophysical Prospecting, First Break och Petroleum Geoscience. Föreningen hade 2009 ca 15 000 medlemmar. EAGE grundades 1950 under namnet European Association of Exploration Geophysicists och bytte till nuvarande namn 1995.
