Pierre-Louis Lions
Lions [ljõ], Pierre-Louis, född 1956, fransk matematiker, professor vid École polytechnique i Palaiseau sedan 1992 och forskningschef vid Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) i Paris sedan 1995.
L. har bidragit till teorin för differentialekvationer och till teorin för variationsproblem. Han erhöll 1994 Fieldspriset.
